ASSUMPTIONS
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Inclusion training
  • Serious games
  • Unconscious bias
  • Behaviour change

The brief

The ministry wanted greater diversity of thought. Interviews revealed that some employees experienced discrimination, while others saw inclusion primarily as HR’s responsibility.

The experience

Across two training sessions, participants explored their behaviour and insecurities around belonging. Experiential exercises revealed how easily exclusion can arise. Familiar dilemmas about lunch invitations, conflict and hierarchy helped them practise responding in everyday situations.

My contribution

Interviews, experience design and facilitation through Ondernemen met Ballen.

The result

Afterwards, ten ambassadors wanted to take action on behaviour change within their departments, motivated by their own commitment.
